Finding a therapist who you trust and feel heard by can be equally as challenging. But that’s where I would like to come in! I believe in building a strong, therapeutic alliance with the children and families I work with so that they feel validated, respected, and supported. My clients describe me as involved, nonjudgmental, enthusiastic, and easy to talk to. I respect all identities, I particularly enjoy working with LGBTQ+ youth, questioning individuals, and gender nonconforming folks. I place a strong emphasis on a family approach, which means I can include caregivers in treatment to maximize the benefits of a holistic and systematic approach. My areas of clinical specialty include: child/adolescent anxiety and depression, peer and family relationships, foster care/reunification/adoption, parenting/coparenting skills, gender affirming care, ADHD and neurodivergent individuals, anger management, and maximizing healthy family functioning.
Client's can expect our first session to be welcoming and nonjudgmental. During our first session, we will be going over as much or as little as you'd like. My priority during our first session is get to know each other and help the client feel comfortable in session.
Treatment modalities I utilize include various family therapy approaches, attachment theory and therapy, CBT, DBT, humanistic approaches, play therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, strengths based therapy, solution focused therapy, trauma informed care, and cultural competency.
I enjoy working with LGBTQ+, gender nonconforming folks, and questioning individuals, to help them feel supported, respected, validated, and important. Cultural humility and intersectionality is a defining principal in my practice, along with meeting a client where they are at. I have an interest in family relationships, attachment patterns, cycles of behaviors, and family roles/responsibilities. At times, family therapy can be a useful intervention to help break generational cycles and maximize healthy family functioning. Additionally, positive and healthy parenting skills and coparenting relationships can make a significant impact on a youth's progress and family functioning.
Children/adolescents (anxiety, depression, anger, mood regulation difficulties), LGBTQ+ youth, parents of LGBTQ+ youth, foster care youth, families/family conflict, oppositional youth, positive/gentle parenting, holistic therapy, neurodivergent youth, and blended families.

She is one of the best therapists I’ve had and I look forward to my sessions with her. She really tries to understand my situations and provides solutions to them.
