About me

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. I'm Joe, and I would be honored to meet with you and learn about any challenges or concerns that you may be facing. I have spent my entire 30+ year career helping people address and manage various personal and professional matters, and I consider it a privilege for me to be a resource for my clients. Whether you are experiencing significant challenges, simply want to engage in self-improvement, or anything in between, I'd be grateful to walk alongside you during this time. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I often use experiential therapy approaches such as watching brief video clips and reviewing concise online media, as well as role playing, etc. to help broaden the overall service experience. I have authored and published two personal development books (2018 & 2024) wherein I offer tips to help people manage life in a healthy manner and improve their capacity for success. I utilize the approaches in these books in my personal life, and I sometimes refer to them in sessions as a way to illustrate various concepts. I also generally give each of my clients a copy of these books (for free) as an additional resource for their journey. As a Therapist, I create a safe supportive environment and help people Heal, Grow, & Thrive! Please reach out to me today and let's work together, discover new insights, and identify effective solutions to address your concerns. I look forward to hearing from you. Until then... Be Well! ~ Joe

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a CBT Therapist, I work with clients to help them understand how their thoughts impact their feelings and behaviors and how those behaviors may impact themselves and others.

Couples Counseling

I work with couples to help them identify a mutual goal, then explore the areas in which they are aligned and misaligned, then address the areas of misalignment.

Experiential Therapy

In working with clients, we often engage in role playing and other experiential activities which can lead to healing and growth.

Psychodynamic

Given then cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches are limited to dealing with the "here and now" , I also incorporate psychodynamic approaches which help clients explore their past experiences and unconscious motivations. Once those matters are resolved to a certain level, they are often then more able to benefit from CBT approaches.
