Hi, my name is Angie and I’m a master’s licensed social worker and graduated from the University of Michigan. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, parents, grief, domestic violence, substance misuse, and depression. I am certified in infant mental health and perinatal mental health. I have experience helping a variety of individuals and I’m sure together we can conquer whatever is causing you distress or what you are needing to process. We are all on this earth together and we need each other. I believe therapy should be a sounding board to help you work through your thoughts and feelings.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our first session I will want to get to know you and specifically what you are looking for from therapy. Then we can identify goals that are ideal for you and talk about how we can achieve them together.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have an eclectic background working with a variety of patients. I think what makes me unique is my ability to empathize with clients and being able to see things from where they stand, even if I haven’t experienced it myself. I want to help you make the perfect treatment plan for you so you can have a better understanding of who you are and just learning more about yourself as a whole.
