With 6 years of experience as a therapist, I've had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, my focus is on helping individuals and families navigate through challenges that impact their emotional and mental well-being.

I'm a daughter, wife, mother and entrepreneur. I have two young children and a devoted husband of 13 years. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 22 years post masters experience working in a variety of treatment settings or levels of care from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to employee assistance programs. I have also worked with a variety of clients spanning the entire life spectrum and with a variety of issues.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor who treats adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, domestic violence, traumas, communication issues, addiction, and esteem-building. I provide a compassionate, empathetic, nonjudgmental setting by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Self-centered therapy, and solution focused therapy to help clients achieve self growth and feeling confidents about themselves.

Life is a journey and how we navigate the roadblocks and pitfalls determines how we are able to emotionally function in a healthy and productive manner. I understand that each person has their unique challenges that cannot be avoided, however, I can help to prioritize and put challenges into perspective while helping you function at your best and most productive self. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have 17 years of experience working with individuals and families. I have helped people with a wide range of concerns including posttraumatic stress disorder, childhood trauma’s, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, relationship and family issues, stage of life challenges, the pain of recovering after a divorce, decision-making, and problem-solving. Other related experience includes working with incarcerated youth who come from the hard streets of Miami. I have also helped many women and men by guiding them through the pain of divorce.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. I graduated from the University of Miami in 1996. My aim as a psychotherapist is to help people identify and change troubling behaviors, thoughts and emotions. Throughout the years, I have helped clients develop healthier and effective habits by using scientifically validated techniques. I use a practical approach to treatment in order to help clients develop effective coping skills. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor for Mental Health counselors and Marriage and Family therapists in the state of Florida. I have worked in my own private practice for over ten years. Making my clients feel comfortable and safe in the therapeutic process is my main goal as a therapist.

Lamerial works with individuals taking a holistic (mind, body, and spirit) approach to promote healing, repair, and growth. She helps clients achieve integration towards a more authentic version of self. She often works with clients navigating concerns in their relationships, intersecting sexuality and spirituality, and survivors of trauma. Lamerial empowers clients to identify their strengths and areas for potential while building a genuine, therapeutic relationship. As a fellow traveler, she joins clients in their unique journey while using effective grounding practices, trauma-informed care, attachment healing, and relational tools.

I’m a licensed therapist who strives to see families and parents learn new ways, techniques and strategies on how to cope with real life changes and see individuals learn about themselves and begin to process life challenges. I have lived, went to school and worked in the Central Florida area for nearly 20 years. I enjoy the traditional Florida lifestyle of exploring nature, the springs, the beaches and all the hiking trails and state parks Florida offers.
