I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida. I received my master's of science from Southeastern University and have been practicing for five years. I help children, teenagers, young adults, and adults of all ages with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions helping them learn healthy coping skills, mindfulness, re-framing limiting beliefs, and using their strengths to empower them to live out their full potential.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with young adults and women of various ages for several years, I have developed the skills necessary to help those struggling with anxiety and mood disorders identify they root cause of their challenges and will help them create a specific plan to reach your goals and make progress in therapy. Because I struggled with anxiety when I was younger, I can relate to my clients with a non-judgmental approach.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients overcome limiting beliefs about themselves and the world. I use CBT to help them re-frame any inaccurate thoughts and beliefs they might have so they can feel less anxious or depressed.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use Mindfulness to help clients relax, focus on their breathing, and become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how they are all related.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients struggling with mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and/or personality disorders. DBT helps with tolerating distress, regulating emotions, interpersonal skills, and learning how to be present in the moment.

Family Therapy

I use family therapy when clients struggle with setting healthy boundaries, communication skills, or conflict management. If you are struggling with knowing who to trust, how to recognize a red flag, or how to stand up for yourself, I can help you with that!
