Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. University of California, Berkeley (UCB) for the AB in English and University of San Francisco (USF) in Counseling. Because of my personal experiences with having seizures when I was younger, I now concentrate on addressing the emotions and hopes and dreams of people who are dealing with the multiple,, and often times consuming, issues of having a seizure disorder. Please let me know if I can bring a more balanced picture to your life and those who you value and love in your life as well.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session we will define your needs and desires around why you came to therapy. If you have a history of seizures or something equally as impactful to your life, we will start and create a beginning strategy for future sessions which you think over in the weeks to come and modify when necessay.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having seizures when I was a child and having to address the cognitive and ongoing impact of the "seizure mind" thinking for over 70 years has given me a clear picture of how the seizure mind experience has impacted everything in my life, and often times, the client's life as well.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy, and find a deep meaning in, helping addressing the issues of people who have seizures in their lives or need counseling addressing the multifactoial, and often confusing experience of having someone who they love who has seizures.
