I’m Stefani, a trauma-informed LCSW who helps adults navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, and patterns that keep showing up even when you know better. I blend EMDR, IFS, and somatic approaches to help you understand why you respond the way you do, process what’s keeping you stuck, and create lasting change. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, build practical tools, and develop a deeper, more compassionate understanding of yourself.
Our first session is about getting to know you, not forcing you to tell your entire story before you’re ready. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been difficult, what you hope will change, and what you’ve tried before. Together, we’ll begin making sense of the patterns that brought you here and identify goals that feel meaningful to you.
I’m curious about what’s underneath the pattern, not just the symptom. I’ll help you slow things down, make sense of your reactions, and explore the experiences and protective patterns shaping how you respond today. My approach is compassionate, curious, and practical—helping you understand yourself without judgment while building tools you can actually use outside of session.
My clients tend to be thoughtful, self-aware adults who are a little tired of being self-aware. They’ve read the books, done the journaling, maybe spent years in therapy, and genuinely understand where their patterns come from. But the anxiety still spikes. The shame still floods in. The disconnection still shows up in relationships, in the body, or in the middle of the night. They’re not looking for more insight; they’re looking for something to actually change. I’m especially well positioned to support adults navigating relational trauma, grief, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, shame, guilt, and dissociation. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the story and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

I use EMDR to help clients process distressing or traumatic experiences that may still feel emotionally or physically “stuck.” We work at a pace that feels manageable, using structured techniques to reduce the intensity of difficult memories, triggers, and associated beliefs while strengthening a sense of safety and stability in the present.
I use IFS to help clients explore the different parts of themselves that may have developed in response to difficult experiences. We approach these parts with curiosity rather than judgment, exploring the protective role they may serve and building greater self-understanding, compassion, and flexibility in how clients respond.
I use somatic approaches to help clients notice how stress, emotions, and past experiences show up in the body. In session, we may pay attention to physical sensations, tension, activation, or impulses and practice ways to recognize and respond to these experiences with greater awareness and regulation.
I use grief therapy to help clients process the emotional, relational, and practical impact of loss. My approach is informed by contemporary grief theory and thanatology, recognizing that grief is not a linear process or something a person simply needs to “get over.” We explore how loss has affected identity, relationships, daily life, and meaning while making space to honor what—and who—has been lost.
I use CBT to help clients identify connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the situations they encounter. We work together to recognize unhelpful thinking or behavioral patterns, examine whether they are serving the client, and develop practical strategies for responding differently.
