New to Grow
You may appear to have everything together on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed by racing thoughts, worry, and emotional exhaustion. Anxiety and overthinking can make it difficult to feel present, confident, or at ease, especially during periods of transition or uncertainty. Changes in relationships, career paths, personal identity, or daily responsibilities can leave you feeling stuck and emotionally depleted. I support adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, and life transitions in developing healthier coping strategies, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of balance. Together, we explore the patterns contributing to overwhelm while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded, clear-minded, and confident in navigating life’s challenges.
The initial 15-minute phone consultation is designed to help us determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, encouraging clients to be actively involved in their treatment planning. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes long and are conducted via video.
One of my strengths as a therapist is my ability to integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT while remaining culturally competent and client-centered. I work to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and develop practical coping strategies in ways that are respectful of their cultural background, personal values, and lived experiences. I also focus on creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the treatment process.
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, overthinking, stress, and the emotional weight of life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling mentally exhausted, stuck in patterns of worry, struggling with self-doubt, or finding it difficult to manage the demands of everyday life. They may be navigating changes in relationships, career challenges, family stress, identity development, burnout, or major personal transitions that leave them feeling uncertain or emotionally drained. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down, process their experiences, and begin developing healthier ways to cope with stress and emotional overwhelm. Using CBT and DBT-informed approaches, I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical skills for emotional regulation, anxiety management, distress tolerance, and self-confidence. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, balanced, and empowered as they work through difficult transitions, improve their relationships, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
