I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. My practice is rooted in creating a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel truly seen and heard. I believe therapy is a place for growth, empowerment, and self-discovery, and I feel honored to be part of each client’s journey from survivor to thriver so you can shine your brightest.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will begin to build our therapeutic relationship through information gathering. We will explore the history of who you are and events that may have influenced your life and current behaviors. I will ONLY ask you to share what you are comfortable and willing to share and fully respect your needs for a safe, secure, non-judgmental and empathetic environment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Over the past twenty years, I have cultivated a therapeutic style that blends warmth, encouragement, and accountability—part cheerleader, part drill sergeant—grounded in compassion, openness, and curiosity. I believe in meeting each client exactly where they are in their journey, focusing on what they need in the present moment, and supporting their readiness for change. My role is to serve as a guide on your path toward healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Ultimately, you are the mapmaker of your journey, and together we work to help you navigate toward the life and self you desire.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I primarily work with clients navigating anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, and general life transitions for adolescents, adults, and older adults. I also provide gender-affirming care, as well as promoting mental health care for GSM (gender and sexual minorities)/ LGBTIA+ persons and have a deep passion for walking alongside individuals as they explore their self-identity and embrace authenticity. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, blending evidence-based strategies with genuine connection to help clients build resilience, foster healing, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundation in my work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma recovery. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, helping clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected while developing healthier coping skills and perspectives. With clients facing anxiety and depression, I use CBT techniques to challenge negative thinking, reduce distress, and promote engagement in meaningful activities. During life transitions, I help clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, and find balance amid change. For those navigating grief and loss, I support the process of healing by addressing feelings of guilt, sadness, and adjustment while fostering acceptance and self-compassion. When working with trauma, I integrate trauma-informed CBT to create emotional safety, increase empowerment, and help clients reframe distressing experiences in ways that promote healing and self-trust. Across all areas, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can gain insight, strengthen emotional well-being, and move toward lasting personal growth.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I integrate Mindfulness-Based Therapy into my clinical work to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and present-moment focus. Through mindfulness practices such as breathing techniques, guided meditation, and mindful self-reflection, I support clients in observing their thoughts and emotions without judgment and responding to them with compassion and clarity.
