I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering talk therapy to adult individuals. I am passionate about reducing the stigma around therapy and creating a supportive space for healing, exploration, and growth. As a grounded therapist I seek to help clients navigate life’s challenges with insight, clarity, and accountability. With 10 years of clinical experience that spans over diverse settings, including community mental health, high-crisis inpatient care, and residential programs for foster youth. I have supported individuals and families facing anxiety, blended family dynamics, neurodivergence, and significant life transitions such as loss, incarceration, or shifting roles within family structure. I provide individual therapy services to adults only.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, personal history, and goals for treatment. This helps me gain a better understanding of how I can support you. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have and determine if you feel comfortable moving forward together.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in compassion. I integrate strength-based, person-centered care with techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating change, or simply looking for support, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Known for a calming thoughtful presence, I use questions that guide clients toward growth while allowing space for reflection, realization, and solutions.
My ideal client is not defined by one specific identity or life experience. I believe therapy is for everyone, and I strive to create a space where people from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and accepted. I am especially passionate about working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities of color who may have been taught, directly or indirectly, that therapy is not for them. Whether due to stigma, generational beliefs, or lack of access, many people have not been given permission to prioritize their mental health. I aim to challenge that narrative by offering a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space.

My approach to ACT focuses on helping clients develop psychological flexibility—the ability to remain present with difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences while taking actions that align with their values and long-term goals. Rather than attempting to eliminate uncomfortable feelings, I help clients build skills to respond to them more effectively and with greater self-compassion. Supporting clients in taking consistent, values-based steps toward desired changes, even when discomfort is present.

I’ve been in more than 5 sessions with Cora and I am loving it! I feel safe talking to her and when I improve with the things I am working with about myself I get so excited to tell her when our appointment comes! She is easy to smile, gives direction to our conversations, understands my needs and lets me explore my thoughts with such warmth. Cora, I miss you already haha!
