Eulene Paulk
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose practice focuses on supporting young adults and college students as they navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and the complexities of emerging adulthood. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and solution-focused, creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I tailor counseling to each client’s unique needs, experiences, strengths, goals, and stage of life. Together, we identify existing strengths and resources, explore practical solutions, and develop strategies that support personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a warm, supportive, and engaging space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, and adjustment to significant life changes, including the transition to college, growing independence, relationships, identity and personal development, and academic or career decisions. My goal is to help clients gain greater clarity, build confidence in their ability to navigate challenges, and move toward the life and goals that are meaningful to them.
First session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your concerns, strengths, experiences, and goals and begin creating a personalized treatment approach that reflects your needs and values.
Strengths
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a warm, supportive, and engaging space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I believe meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, so I take a personalized and collaborative approach that meets each client where they are while honoring their unique experiences, strengths, and needs.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, challenges with emotional regulation, self-esteem, or significant life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting college students and young adults as they navigate academic pressures, growing independence, and college and career decisions. Therapy provides a supportive space to explore these experiences, build on personal strengths, and foster meaningful growth, healing, and resilience.
Treatment methods
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My work is grounded in a person-centered approach that prioritizes creating a safe, accepting space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I lead with empathy, honesty, and respect, allowing clients to explore their feelings at their own pace. Rather than pushing an agenda, I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship and supporting clients as they develop insight, confidence, and a deeper understanding of themselves.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles with empathy, trust, and collaboration to support change. Together, we explore thought patterns and coping skills at a pace that feels right for each client, helping build insight and confidence while feeling understood and respected throughout the process.
