Clients say this provider is
Both my personal experience of coming out of daily anxiety, and decades of supporting clients who were able to do the same, leads me to be confident in working with new clients who want change in their lives. I have a passion especially for those who have experienced destructive or abusive relationships in their family, intimate relationships or even within a religious organization. Healing, peace and joy are possible.
The first 6-8 minutes of a session will include a welcome, overview of the session and a quick review of practice policies, which I'll have sent to the client prior to the appointment. I'll share the objective of me gaining an understanding of what the client is wanting, invite them to share what's led them to start counseling, and finally work together to develop potential goals.
Creating a warm environment, while using humor and evidenced-based strategies is a strength of mine which allows clients to achieve the change they desire.
Individuals who are driven to take that next step in being free from daily anxiety and depression, wanting to better understand family patterns, and the continued impact of past hurts and trauma are an ideal match with my experience and style. Evidenced -based strategies are a big part of what I share in sessions. Sessions are filled with warmth and humor, while still doing the work to achieve a client's goals.
