Existential
Existential psychotherapies use a range of approaches, but major themes focus on the concepts of responsibility and freedom. Therapists help you find meaning in the face of anxiety by choosing to think and act responsibly and by confronting negative internal thoughts rather than focusing on external forces like societal pressures or luck. Fostering creativity, love, authenticity, and free will are common avenues that help move you toward transformation. Similarly, when treating addiction disorders, the existential therapist coaches a person to face the anxiety that abuse use may be alleviating, and encourages them to take responsibility for their life. The goal: To make more willful decisions about how to live, drawing on creativity and love, instead of letting outside events determine one's behavior.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy technique that can help people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy involves moving your eyes in a specific way while processing traumatic memories. The goal is to stimulate the brain to process unhealed memories, which can lead to a natural restoration and adaptive resolution

I usually don’t leave reviews especially for providers but I hope this can help someone else like myself a week ago. I have had at least 6 therapist in the last 2 years and I have always felt that none really listen or tune in what I’m looking for from therapy. At our first session Morgan was very empathetic and kind. I felt heard and guided like she knew what to do and how to move forward to find a solution for my issue. Exited to continue with her and see what next sessions bring.
