Hello and thank you so much for having enough courage and honesty to take the first big step. My name is Erlynn Cabarles, LCSW and I have a Master’s in Social Work from SFSU. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California since 2015. I have 20 plus years of experience in the mental health field and I believe that the first step of healing is self-discovery and the development of personal goals to overcome challenges. My intentions are to instill hope and inspiration and to empower you to be able to move on to a more fulfilling life. Remember that You are resilient and determined to change for the positivity. My purpose is to provide a safe space and non-judgmental environment. If you’re ready, I’ll be here to support you on your journey towards healing!
During our First session together, I’d like to get to know you a little bit better. You can tell me more about yourself or talk about whatever is bothering you right now, or in the past, or in the future. It gives me for a better understanding of where you are and I can offer any kind of support that you may need. We may also discuss therapeutic goals that you may have and other specific techniques or coping skills that you can use in the present.
I provide a nonjudgmental, safe, and supportive environment where we could have an open discussion of whatever else is on your mind. I have a calm and patient nature, unconditional empathy, and a kind listener. Through 25 years of mental health awareness and diverse experience, I can help guide you through inner work, actionable goals, growth mindset, and healing.
This is the time and safe nonjudgmental space you can talk and I am here to listen. Anxiety and Depression may arise at a time like this, especially when dealing with unresolved traumatic experiences. However, increased resilience is the key to making you grow mentally stronger, despite what you are going through. I have a great deal of experience working with people who are from the LGBTQ+ community, who have experienced Trauma and Abuse, Grief and Loss, ADHD/ADD, Stress and Anxiety, Depression/Mood Disorders, Relationship Issues, and Coping with Life Changes. Together we can walk together through this journey of healing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize CBT to help clients reframe their core beliefs and self-limiting thoughts in order to form a better growth mindset and empowering intentions to heal in their journey.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I have experience working with women, children, and men who have experienced sexual, physical, emotional, psychological trauma and abuse. We discuss what happened then in the past and focus on the root of the problem and how it is triggering something in the present or showing patterns. Through processing and tears, one is able to eventually let go of whatever it is that is holding them back.
Eclectic
Over the course of my experience, I have developed a deep appreciation for client-centered and personalized treatment design. I utilize an eclectic framework, strategically applying elements from different modalities to create a unique therapeutic strategy for every individual.

I really really like this provider. I haven't felt this comfortable with anyone in YEARS. I am so thankful for Grow Therapy and being able to connect with such a warm, funny, and validating therapist. Thank you Erlynn Cabarles for giving me a place to be my messy self. I am truly thankful for you.
