Licensed to practice in California and accepts 1 insurance. Specializes in Anxiety, Coping Skills, Depression
Hello my name is Virginia Myricks, LMFT and my goal is to encourage, challenge and empower you to uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. I understand that every individual struggles with life challenges in their own unique way and it would be my pleasure to work with you on identifying your goals, offering treatment interventions that are best suited to your individual needs and to assist you in experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Our first session will focus on an intake, which allows me to introduce myself and learn about you and the specific challenges you are experiencing in your life. We will discuss treatment goals and work collaboratively to begin the process of change.
I have 18 years of experience as a behavioral health care provider and have worked with a full range of clients and life experiences.
I am open and available to work with any client who is looking to achieve positive change in their lives.

Virginia made me feel welcomed, valued, and cared for during our first session. She was very attentive and heard what I was saying.

Ms. Myricks is a warm spirited, solution based therapist. She ask all the right questions and doesn't lead her patients to accepting what she thinks is best, but guides them to making the choice themselves.

After hearing that finding a therapist is hard, and like dating. She set clear expectations and after about halfway through I felt heard, she was warm but direct. I left feeling hopeful and optimistic.
