Hello! I am an experienced, licensed psychologist who has helped many individuals, couples, and families to navigate various life transitions. I enjoy serving clients who are willing to assess their value systems to determine if their values are still consistent with who they want to be. To some extent, our personal styles are genetically determined. However, I also believe we base our values on early learning, whether that education was positive or not.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we will get to know each other. Together, we will begin to discover how you arrived at your crossroads, as well as start the plan for your future destination.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strength is my intuition. However, I learned a long time ago that my intuition is only as accurate as my knowledge and experience. Consequently, I have worked, and continue to work, to add to my knowledge and experience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have tremendous respect for individuals who are open to addressing their difficult experiences. To do so, requires courage, and I will partner with you on this journey. Painful life experiences leave an unfinished learning, and the purpose of therapy is to complete this learning. In individual therapy, I help client’s to say, “No,” without feeling guilty, and to move away from repetitive overthinking. We will address your “inner critic” to help you to be present in relating to others. Individual therapy can address your motivation and vitality, helping you to manage stress, rather than stress managing you. With couples and family therapy, I help couples stop having the same argument over and over. After infidelity, couples may find the path back to “us.” Partners with parenting differences can learn to collaborate for their kids. Since chronic illness can negatively impact a couple, therapy may help you both to stop asking “Why is this happening to me?” and begin asking, “How can we get through this together?” Family therapy can help blended families learn to unify, and help parents build a bridge to children.

She kept interrupting me and then asked personal questions I told her not to ask about something and she wouldn't listen. Worst person I have ever talked to. Ridiculous!
