Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my degree from Indiana University and currently live in Indiana with 2 dogs, 2 horses and a cat. I have over 5 years of experience seeing clients in an office setting, or via telehealth for traditional therapy, as well as play therapy, and animal assisted therapy for in person sessions. I see teens, and adults for telehealth, to assist with developing coping skills, insight, and improved self-care to live life with greater ease, and less distress.
In our first session, after introductions, we will begin to identify your goals for therapy, explore relevant themes and patterns, and together collaborate to design a treatment plan.
My approach to therapy is informed by my over 30 years of experience in holistic health, as a massage therapy and yoga therapist. As we learn to trust, and listen to our bodies, along with our intuition, we often find we know more than we think we do! Being seen, and heard by a compassionate, therapeutic partner can assist us in exploring issues stemming from early in life, or current challenges that we may face, that may feel overwhelming on our own.
Clients who work well with my approach, have good self-awareness, are interested in trying new coping skills, and may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or history of trauma that impacts their ability to enjoy life, and have meaningful relationships.
