(she/her)
Hi, I'm Jessica. Do you sometimes find yourself overwhelmed by the many priorities and responsibilities you face? Is it a challenge to just focus on one task or issue at a time? I serve as a guide to help you create the roadmap you need to get where you want to go. Together, we'll uncover the barriers that keep you from reaching your goals and developing the kind of life you want for yourself. Using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused theories, we'll create a detailed plan of action that will take you from a place of feeling generally "stuck" to feeling satisfied and hopeful about what life has in store for you. Whether you're dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief/loss, attention difficulties, substance use, or just generally looking for support as you make changes or transitions in life, I'll be with you every step of the way. I can't wait for us to get started!
It's important for us to spend some time getting to know one another; I want to really understand what your needs are and what strengths have served you well in the past.
In particular, we'll work to create a list of challenges that demand our attention, and systematically work to reduce or eliminate them. The principles of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy include a plan to “listen, select, and build,” and we will work to find solutions and create meaning together.
I believe that's it's crucial to unearth the wisdom and resources that you already contain within yourself. Often, I find that it's necessary to help clients build confidence in the idea that they are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to help them build on the strengths and gifts they already possess.
I'm best positioned to serve clients dealing with life's transitions (job change, divorce, etc.).

Jessica is a great listener and very active in supporting my short and long-term goals. Her empathy goes a long way, both by helping me realize my strengths and identifying areas of improvement. While I’m very thankful for the progress I’ve made lately, I have her to thank for some of my greatest feats in overall growth.

I've only had one session so far, but I already cannot wait for the next. Jessica is attentive, a great listener, and offers helpful solutions to some of my biggest stressors. At no point did it feel like I was discussing my issues with a stranger, but with a truly professional, warm, and inviting human being. I'd highly recommend her to anyone who feels they have a "tangled" mind like me. Jessica has already been extremely helpful in allowing me to untangle it. :)

Appreciated the direct and logical evaluation of my multiple issues- but also the caring suggestions of directing a solid approach to start the process. She was attentive, but compassionate and obviously listened well when discussing feedback and problem-solving.
