Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first therapy session is an opportunity for us to begin building a comfortable, collaborative, and supportive relationship. During this session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, and review important aspects of your personal history, relationships, and emotional well-being. This initial meeting is also a space for you to ask questions, share your goals, and gain a better understanding of my therapeutic approach. There is no pressure to share everything at once - therapy is a process that unfolds at your pace. My goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgemental environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we will begin identifying your strengths, developing insight, and creating a path toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to combine compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based treatment approached to meet the unique needs of each client. I believe therapy is most effective when clients fell genuinely understood, supported, and empowered while also being challenged toward meaningful growth and change. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in resilience. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and sex therapy to support individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds experiences. Through CBT, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier coping strategies. Using DBT techniques, I Assist clients in building mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional balance. My work with ERP therapy focuses on helping clients gradually confront fears and reduce compulsive or avoidant behaviors in a safe and structured manner, allowing them to regain confidence and freedom in their daily lives. In sex therapy, I provide supportive and nonjudgemental space to address concerns related to intimacy, communication, sexual functioning, desire discrepancies, identity exploration, and relational dynamics across various populations and relationship systems. Through my career, I have had the privilege of helping clients reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve relationship satisfaction, strengthen emotional resilience, increase self-esteem, navigate major life transitions, and develop healthier patterns of communication and connection. Clients often report feeling more empowered, self-aware, emotionally grounded, and capable of managing challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with individuals and couples who are seeking meaningful change, deeper shelf understanding, and practical tools to improve their emotional well-being and relationships. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, relationship conflict, sexuality concerns, stress, life transitions, or patterns that no longer serve them. I work well with clients who may feel stuck, disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward, but who also possess a desire for growth, healing, and self-improvement. Some clients begin therapy feeling hesitant or vulnerable, while others arrive highly motivated and ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process. Regardless of where they start, I strive to meet each client with compassion, respect, and a personalized approach tailored to their needs and goals. I particularly enjoy working with clients who value insight, openness, and collaborations, and who are willing to engage in both self-reflection and evidence-based therapeutic strategies to create lasting and meaningful change.
