Narcissistic abuse and emotional abuse can leave you feeling confused, hurt, and searching for answers. You may have believed you found your soulmate, only to end up in a complicated, painful relationship. Feelings of isolation, self-blame, and frustration are common, but you don’t have to face this alone. If you’ve been researching narcissism and its impact, you’re already taking the first step toward healing—and I’m here to guide you the rest of the way. As a compassionate therapist, I specialize in helping individuals recover from narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, and toxic relationships. I work with clients to rebuild self-esteem, set healthy boundaries, and create a life filled with clarity, confidence, and empowerment. My practice is inclusive and affirming, and I am passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community through unique challenges and experiences. If you’re ready to make a change but aren’t sure where to start, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll work on healing past wounds, breaking free from harmful patterns, and creating a future where you feel in control and valued. Let’s take the first step towards you having a better life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my priority is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard and understood. I’ll take the time to get to know you, listen to your story, and explore the challenges that have brought you to therapy. We’ll also discuss what’s going well in your life, because recognizing strengths and positive aspects can be just as important as addressing difficulties. Together, we’ll collaborate on a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. My aim is to help you move toward the life you envision—one filled with healing, growth, and empowerment. From the very first session, you can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach focused on your well-being and progress.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having navigated my own challenges and growth, I deeply understand the courage it takes to seek help and the vulnerability required to heal. This allows me to connect with clients on a genuine, empathetic level and create a safe, nonjudgmental space for their journey. In addition to my personal experiences, I combine evidence-based practices with a compassionate, client-centered approach. I’m skilled at helping clients uncover their strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop practical tools to overcome obstacles. My ability to balance empathy with actionable guidance empowers clients to move forward with confidence and clarity.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced emotionally abusive relationships, including those involving narcissistic abuse. Whether you’re currently in a difficult relationship or have recently left one, I’m here to help you navigate the confusion, despair, and self-doubt that often accompany these relationships. I also work with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms, helping them find relief and reclaim their sense of self. My practice is rooted in compassion, understanding, and a commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing. I particularly enjoy working with individuals healing from emotionally abusive or narcissistic relationships, people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or the lingering effects of trauma, and members of the LGBTQ+ community seeking affirming, inclusive support. If you’re ready to break free from harmful patterns, rebuild your self-esteem, and create a life filled with clarity and confidence, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. Together, we’ll work toward growth and empowerment.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I love ACT. It's all about getting clear on your values and then aligning your behaviors with what you say matters to you. We work on acceptance, because fighting against reality takes up a lot of energy that could be spent building the life you want. We also practice cognitive defusion, which is learning to unhook yourself from your thoughts instead of getting tangled up in them. It's a powerful way to stop letting your mind run the show and start living more intentionally.

EMDR

EMDR is a trauma processing technique that helps reduce the distress attached to disturbing memories. If you've been through painful experiences that still feel very alive in your body and mind, EMDR can help take the charge out of those memories so they stop running your life. I also use The Flash Technique, which allows you to process difficult memories without having to relive them. You don't have to go back into the worst moments to get relief from them, which makes it a great option if the idea of trauma work feels overwhelming.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts and feelings are driving your behavior — and what to do about it. A big part of my work is helping you challenge the thoughts that keep you stuck, recognize cognitive distortions, and learn that you don't have to believe every thought you think just because you think it. We'll work on reframing the patterns that aren't serving you so you can start making choices from a clearer place.
