I have been in practice for over 10 years in various different settings and with different populations. I will meet you where you are and help you move to where you want to be. You are the expert of you and I am here to guide. There is no ideal client-I encourage honesty and continuous learning. I am currently working towards my doctorate.
Welcome to your first counseling session. Our primary goal today is to establish a comfortable and supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. We will take this time to get to know each other, allowing you to share what has prompted you to seek counseling and what you hope to achieve through our work together. I will explain the importance of confidentiality and the boundaries that ensure a safe space for exploration. Additionally, we will discuss the process of therapy, outlining the techniques and strategies that may be employed to address your concerns. Please feel free to ask any questions or express any reservations you may have. Our collaboration is founded on mutual trust and respect, and I am committed to supporting you on this journey towards growth and well-being.
I work with people who struggle with addiction, ADHD, adoption, depression, anxiety, religious trauma and a multitude of other issues. I am blunt and willing to address when I am in the wrong. I have a desire to learn from others and to not be stuck in my own way of thinking.
Adults ages 18 and up are the ideal for prospective clients however I can work with 12 year olds and older as well as couples.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-Centered Therapy fosters a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. I use empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard to support self-exploration and growth. Rather than giving advice, I help clients trust their inner wisdom, promoting self-awareness, autonomy, and meaningful personal change.

Overall very sincere in discussion regarding vulnerable information, and challenging in regard to giving a direction to step towards for improvement!

Thus far she is by far the best therapist that I have spoken with. She has a down to earth mentality and is able to convey complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand how to apply it in daily life. She also actually takes the time to make it feel like a conversation instead of just asking empty questions like many others in the field which provides a feeling like you are speaking to a well educated close friend.
