Drawing on my experience in the field from all age of individuals, couples, and families, I will work with you as a team to create measurable treatment goals while providing care and guidance. I achieved both my Psychology Undergraduate Degree and Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation. I am currently an independently licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC).
In our first session, my goal is for you to feel safe and heard. I will ask you background information to get to know you, as you feel comfortable to share. I will also ask you to briefly describe what may be bringing you to the appointment, and if you're unsure, we will uncover that together. By the end of the session, we will have a beginning direction for treatment and intervention, and a feel for whether I am the right fit to help you.
I am a cause-oriented, loyal defender and advocate for those in need, striving to create a genuine counseling relationship through sincere empathy. I work toward meeting my clients where they are emotionally and creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. I balance this along with providing the right amount of accountability. I guide my clients toward success in their treatment goals, while tailoring it specific to the client as no two clients are the same. I am experienced in providing counseling to all age groups in an individual, family, or couples counseling setting.
I have had the privilege of working in multiple aspects of the mental health field. I have served clients 8 to 75 years of age within inpatient, outpatient, and emergency crisis settings. I have experience in individual, couples, and family counseling services. Throughout my career, I have heard from many clients of their negative experience with counseling, feeling "stuck", or that counseling has never made a difference. These statements are what motivate me to continue being a counselor. I want to break that pattern for individuals and provide them with a positive counseling experience filled with guidance, empathy, goals, resources, and results.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients notice patterns in their thoughts and how those thoughts affect their feelings and actions. Together, we explore practical ways to reframe unhelpful thinking, build coping skills, and make positive changes in everyday life. My approach is collaborative and supportive, giving clients tools they can use both in and outside of sessions.
I help clients be kinder to themselves, calm self-criticism, and handle life’s challenges with more balance and care.
I help couples improve communication, strengthen their connection, and work through challenges together in a supportive, understanding way.

Anna Nestor-Hendricks is a very warm and genuine dr, who seems to honestly care about her patients. I felt very much at ease, considering that this was our initial appointment. I'm really looking forward to my sessions ☺️ with her, and I feel like she will actually hear what I'm trying to say. That's so important, I think for everyone. We all want to be heard.
