Hello, my name is Marie Sze-Yim and I am a licensed mental health counselor in both Florida and New York. Also, I am a qualified supervisor in Florida. I have 15+ years of experience working with diverse clients of all ages stemming from anxiety, coping, phase of life events, depression, trauma, and relationship issues (couples, family, career). What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our sessions, we will build a therapeutic rapport, explore your goals/concerns, and collaborate using evidenced-based practices (EBP) and mindfulness techniques to reach self-care, balance, and clarity.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Treatment modalities include evidenced-based practices (EBP) such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness techniques, and psychodynamic therapy will be used. We will work collaboratively towards goals/concerns and develop and implement effective coping skills to foster personal growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

A few of my biggest strengths include my ability to meet clients where they are on their path to gaining clarity, my ability to provide an empathetic approach filled with respect and compassion, and offering support so that my clients feel understood (seen/heard/validated).
