Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Pennsylvania and California. I’ve always been fascinated by the human experience. Life is a complicated journey that at times can be very distressing. We as humans need each other to survive, heal, and actualize. I know starting therapy can be quite vulnerable. I truly believe engaging in therapy and the therapeutic relationship can support healing, change, and growth. I meet with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds that often struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. Some identify as LGBTQ+ and need support with their coming out process or with gender identity exploration. Many of the people I work with are having difficulty adjusting to life connected to an unexpected life event or are experiencing challenges at their workplace. In sessions, we will explore what you desire, the steps you are willing to take, your strengths, and what barriers are getting in your way. My hope is to support you in living a full and healthy life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My main goal is to support you in increasing your overall life functioning and living authentically. We will explore what you desire, the steps you are willing to take, your strengths, and what barriers are getting in your way. In our sessions, I strive to create a warm, open, and engaging environment to help you to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I am always open to feedback.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am an integrative therapist. What this means is I pull from various modalities I’ve been trained in that I tailor to the specific needs and wants of an individual. Oftentimes, life events and challenging relationships decrease one’s ability to fully experience the joy and intimacy that is possible. The exploration of one’s thoughts and feelings in therapy alongside better understanding our relationship patterns can deepen awareness and create a shift as one works toward living the life they want.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds that often struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. I also work with clients that identify as LGBTQ+ that may need support with their coming out process or with their gender identity. Many of the clients I work with are having difficulty adjusting to life connected to an unexpected life event.
