I began my career as a Social Worker working within the Child Welfare system in New York City. In 2003, I relocated to Charlotte, NC and continued my work within Child Welfare as a Child Protective Services Social Worker. In 2008, I obtained my clinical licensure which initiated my move from providing direct clinical services to children, young adults and families.

Lastly, I have worked as a medical social worker, both in the hospital and in the outpatient Clinics, as well as in the Emergency Department.
