Hello! My name is Stefan and I am a passionate and dedicated clinician providing support to clients from various backgrounds. Whether you're experiencing difficulties with motivation, unhappiness with your current predicament, or struggling with overthinking, I approach our work together from a place of immense compassion. I truly value the impact of having a space that allows you to freely express your emotions, thoughts, and to reflect on your life experiences.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together a major priority I have is explaining what the therapeutic process is like, and what you specifically need from a therapist. At your pace, I then like to hear more about what prompted you to reach out as well as learn more about who you are/your life experiences. And of course, questions will be answered. It's important that you feel comfortable and informed about the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths include the warmness and authenticity that I convey to all of my clients. I also maintain an openness to receiving feedback and hearing what you need in order to feel comfortable.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have found CBT to be especially helpful to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management issues, and low self-esteem. I have been trained in CBT since the start of my clinical experience during graduate school. I have also attended advanced training seminars.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Like CBT, this approach has been especially helpful for similar challenges. I have been trained in ACT since the start of my clinical experience during graduate school.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I've seen client success when using CPT to address symptoms of PTSD. I have attended specific trainings to incorporate this into my practice.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

There is a growing body of evidence that supports the effectiveness of utilizing CBT-i to address insomnia. I've seen results with multiple clients.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma informed care permeates the services I provide. It guides my decision making and the way I approach working with clients.
