Hi! I’m a Licensed Therapist based in Florida. I earned my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and my graduate degree from Florida Atlantic University, and I’ve been in the field for 12 years. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation. My goal is to assist clients in achieving significant relief as efficiently as possible through a tailored, integrative approach to therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll start with introductions and a discussion of your background to get a clear understanding of the challenges you're facing. We’ll then work together to identify your goals and develop a personalized plan to address them. This initial meeting sets the foundation for our work together and ensures we have a clear path forward in our follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build a genuine connection with clients, which helps me understand their needs deeply. With 12 years of experience as a clinician and 6 years as a clinical director, I combine this personal connection with a deep well of expertise. My background includes both direct client care and mentoring other clinicians, allowing me to offer effective, personalized treatment plans that lead to noticeable improvements in distressing symptoms.

My treatment methods

EMDR

In EMDR therapy, we focus on processing and resolving past traumatic experiences or distressing memories that may be impacting your current well-being. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, we help you reframe and integrate these memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge and helps you heal.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a practical, problem-solving approach that helps you identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. Together, we work to replace these with healthier, more constructive ways of thinking and behaving, which can improve your mood and overall quality of life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In DBT, I teach you skills to manage intense emotions and improve relationships. We work together on four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach is designed to help you navigate emotional challenges and build healthier patterns in your life.

Eclectic

This is an approach I often take in my practice because it allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs. By integrating techniques from various therapies like EMDR, CBT, and DBT, I can address the complexities of your situation more effectively. This flexibility helps us use the most effective strategies and tools for your unique challenges and goals, ensuring a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan.
