Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up on the West Coast, in Oregon and California. I earned my Master's from San Diego State University and have provided therapeutic services for 12 years. I meet clients where they are in life to help guide and support them in accomplishing their therapeutic goals.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I am here to provide expert support and tailored therapy services. You are the expert in your life, and I will work with you to find the best solutions. I offer personalized and practical support through cognitive behavioral, narrative, and solution-focused therapy techniques. During the first session, we will review the intake form and conduct depression and anxiety assessments. These tools allow you to express your genuine concerns privately, provide background on your life, and share where you would like to be at the end of therapy. We will also develop a safety plan as needed. If the initial session is for couples or families, I will assess for safety and speak with each member individually as necessary. This is to ensure that all perspectives are heard and understood. Your unique experiences and viewpoints are essential.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Through my unique blend of personal and professional experiences, I have cultivated a deep understanding of human nature. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment for exploring life's endless possibilities and achieving genuine self-awareness.
