Hello, I'm Wanda, Are you embracing the present, dwelling on the past, or focused on the future? Does this leave you feeling confused and unbalanced? Are you feeling stuck? I am here to provide an environment where true healing can be fostered. I believe you can unlock your true potential by exploring various aspects of your "being.” I will assist you with identifying and utilizing your strengths and exploring your weaknesses as we travel along your path to a healthier well-being. My approach is holistic; focusing on spiritual(for those that desire), mental, and physical aspects of your “being.” Wellness can be achieved when you are true to yourself and transparent with your therapist. It takes courage to embark on such a journey. You have that courage. Lets embark upon your journey together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first together, we will have brief introduction, then you will be given a opportunity to discuss specific challenges bringing you to counseling. Next, will will explore and set goals fro counseling.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I have vast experience working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, anger management, abuse, depression, grief, self-esteem issues and trauma. I also have experience working with LGBTQ population. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches based on clients' needs, including person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused and trauma-focused therapy. I encourage clients with continuing to focus on learned techniques outside of sessions with homework assignment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take providing effective counseling services very seriously. I can say honestly that this is indeed my passion and my life’s work. My niche is working along with client clients experiencing anxiety and depression. My ability to assist clients with identifying their life purpose and meaning has been rewarding for my clients. My work in family/couples counseling is to assist couples with communication, problem-solving, and decision-making; so you can move forward together with peaceful minds. My goal as a therapist is to provide each client with a safe and supportive place where he or she can grow and learn more about themselves, available resources, and the world that surrounds them. Again, let's embark upon your counseling journey together. I will be here waiting.
