Hi, my name is Shan Croft, Are you looking for a therapist that you can dialogue with that provides you with a comfortable and safe environment to authentically express yourself? Then look no further, I strive to create a professional and therapeutic environment that allows for effective dialectical exchange. I am a licensed therapist in Georgia. I have worked with clients with a multitude of presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues, career difficulties, and other life challenges. I have a diverse employment background that includes inpatient settings, outpatient sectors, schools, military bases, and remote. My therapy style is collaborative, direct, supportive, and solution-focused. My goal is to help clients connect and re-frame thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that could be acting as barriers to a satisfactory life. I believe in showing all individuals respect, sensitivity, and empathy. I will customize our dialogue to meet your specific therapeutic needs. If and when you are ready to take the next step toward promoting your healing. I am here to support and encourage you on your therapy journey.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we will have brief introduction and discuss expectations for therapy. Afterwards, I will assess specific challenges that have led you to therapy and gather a history of the dynamic of the specific issues identified. This will assist me in creating a specific plan/direction in which we will best benefit from working together.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Strength areas: self-esteem, communication, relationships, trauma, depression, family challenges, and adjusting to life changes.
