Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Florida and I have been practicing for 25 years. I work with children, adults, couples and families. Together we can identify what issues you are struggling with and make effective changes so that you can reach your potential and truly live your best life. I specialize in helping identify what behaviors and thoughts are not working for you and introduce new ones that help you create a better way to live. I help you strengthen your relationships through better communication, conflict resolution and a safe place to process your feelings while guiding you to feel more confident about your relationships and yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will introduce ourselves and get to know one another. Think of it as a coffee talk session where you introduce yourself and identify what your specific circumstances you are facing. We will explore contextual, interpersonal and internal variables and then tailor a treatment plan according to your goals

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working together as a collaborative team helps you achieve your goals. Together we will identify individual and contextual variables to create solutions in a collaborative manner. My systemic and holistic approach allows me to identify what patterns have created your circumstances and how we can make effective change for you. Making changes are hard but staying exactly where you are can harder.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combines cognitive and behavioral therapy to help you identify and challenge negative or inaccurate thoughts, how you interpret your environment, and to help change the behaviors associated with those. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy will help focus on the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors. You will learn to recognize and interrupt automatic thoughts and to reframe them in a more productive and positive way. I have been working with children, adults, couples and families for over 25 years using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other treatment modalities such as behavioral therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and trauma focused treatment, to discover new tools to identify how you can make positive changes in your life. It is imperative to know what behaviors do not serve you and why, but it is just as important learn what new behaviors you can introduce into your life to make effective change. I will work with you to help you reach your potential and feel that you are the best version of you.
