Hi. I am Rachael. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice in finding help. I have availability morning, afternoon, and evening hours Monday - Thursday and morning hours on Friday to offer flexibility for my patients. I am a traveler, foodie, and animal lover who specializes in treating life transitions, stress/anger management, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and substance abuse in adults. No matter what the concern, we can work together to find the right resolution for your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome whatever you see as a problem. I believe therapy is a unique and different experience for everyone. Maybe it's a time to freely speak your thoughts and gain a new perspective from an impartial person. Maybe it's acquiring a new coping skill to manage emotions during stress or learning to communicate more effectively in your relationships. I believe that therapy is a collaborative effort. I may have the therapeutic knowledge, but YOU are and always will be the expert of YOU. That's important to remember.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Imagine a place to talk about your problems and feelings in a judgement free space, taking the time to exhale from holding your breath while peeling your tongue off the roof of your mouth. I provide a safe space for you to do that by assisting you to identify your own unique strengths and utilize them to overcome challenges, reach your goals, and improve your life.
