Feeling lost in the chaos of life? Struggling with bipolar, BPD, DID, or the tough stuff most therapists won’t touch? Hi, My name is John’Neiska "JoJo" Williams and I am a licensed professional counselor in the states TX, GA LA, and I can assure you, you’ve come to the right place. So kick off your shoes, relax your feet, but let’s get real and talk ‘What’s tea?’ Therapy isn’t just venting—I’m not here for small talk. I have a laid-back vibe, but make no mistake—I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. No clichés, no endless “How does that make you feel?” My behavioral approach helps you break cycles, not just talk about them. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m here to help you reclaim control and transform—because you matter too. The tools I provide aren’t just theories—I’ve spent my career perfecting them to help people like you. My humanistic, person-centered approach integrates Gestalt, exposure, and behavioral therapy to create real change. Im a trained DBT and behavioral therapist. I specialize in bipolar, Adverse childhood experience trauma, personality disorders, “mom guilt,” and LGBT concerns. I have certification in DBT and behavioral therapy treatment.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions. I like to get your needs, wants, goals, and expectations of therapy. I also like to talk about your past experiences with therapy and what made you consider therapy as the best option for you. I like to also let clients know therapy with me, you will work collaboratively with me and remain autonomous. I will explain my theoretical approaches to therapy just to make sure you are comfortable with some of the tasks such as interventions, psychoeducation, and homework I Amy ask of you.
I try to be competent in all areas of counseling. However, my biggest strengths and specialties include my ability to challenge and use confrontation in a positively reinforcing and therapeutic way. This creates awareness in a way that allows an individual to change emotions with their actions and not control emotions with their actions. I am not accepting teens/adolescents, high school students, or couples currently.
Young Adults, Adults, teens or adolescents at least 16 or older
I use Gestalt in a way to help focus on a person's present life rather than delving into their past experiences. This form of therapy stresses the importance of understanding the context of a person’s life when considering the challenges they face. It also involves taking responsibility and moving forward rather than placing blame.
