Hello, my name is Tara Griffith. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and therapist in the state of Florida. I am a firm believer that you are who you are because of where you have come from. I enjoy working with others who due to adverse childhood experiences and various traumas throughout life, are ready to work through these traumas and experiences. We become the best versions of ourselves by working through our traumas and challenges to better equip ourselves with the tools to face these traumas and challenges.
Our first session will consist of us getting to know one another to begin setting the foundations to build rapport and to create a safe space to talk. I will ask you questions to complete an intake of your needs and to develop goals for treatment moving forward.
I am a firm believer that we are who we are because of where we have come from. Through my own lived experiences, I have come to realize that we all benefit from being able to talk through and connect with those around us. This brings healing and a different lens to which we can view our lives for the better. We thrive off of connecting with those around us. We need this as a community. This helps us move through life in a happier and healthier way. Clients have told me that I listen, empathize well, am warm, and engaging.
I provide a safe space for you to talk about and process through your lived experiences. In doing this, I help you identify and navigate through thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may come up due to these experiences.
I meet you where you are currently at related to your trauma experience. Through building rapport with one another, you can experience a safe space to talk through your experiences. You are who you are because of where you have come from. I work with individuals who have experienced various traumas to include trauma due to adoption, adverse childhood experiences, maternal mental health, trauma related to time in the military, and grief due to the loss of a loved one.
