Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University and have been practicing for 8 years. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in school systems, a crisis stabilization unit, and community mental health agencies. I enjoy working with both children and adults to find healthy and positive ways to cope with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and stress.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create an individualized treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with various populations for the past 8 years, I have experience in helping clients implement tried-and-true strategies for that will help (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a individualized plan that leads to measurable progress.
I use eclectic therapy in my practice, which is a form of psychotherapy that adapts to the unique needs and treatment goals of each client. I utilize many different types of therapy ( Dialectical Behavior Therapy - DBT, Cognitive Behavior Therapy - CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - ACT, Interpersonal psychotherapy, etc) during therapy to provide my clients with the best combination of therapeutic tools.
