In the behavioral health field, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma and suffer from addiction, anxiety, grief, or depression. I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), which include identifying and confronting negative thoughts, using guided imagery, visualization, and other coping and relaxation strategies. These techniques have been incredibly effective in managing a multitude of issues. My focus is to support individuals and couples in healing as they become aware of their inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. The plan will utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing through a client-centered approach with the client’s needs and desired outcomes in mind. These methods are effective for people struggling with depression, stress, anxiety, anger, PTSD, self-image, and anyone seeking skills empowering you to live your best life.
Our first session will consist of background questions and building a therapeutic relationship.
My primary focus is a holistic cognitive-behavioral person-centered approach that allows you to have the tools to manifest positive changes toward the life you desire. Tools utilized include mindfulness, coping and relaxation skills and other cognitive behavioral strategies.
I am told I am caring and compassionate providing support without judgment.
