Hi there! I'm an LCSW licensed in Florida, and being a therapist - helping individuals improve the quality of their lives and relationships - is my greatest passion. I specialize in working with individuals feeling stuck and dissatisfied with their communication patterns, confidence, relationships, self-expression, and/or purpose to find meaning and joy in their lives and become their ideal version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will feel like speaking with a new friend. We'll get acquainted, chat briefly about how our days are going so far, then dive into your history and the specific challenges you're facing. I'll be sure to make you feel safe and comfortable with me, as I understand that beginning therapy can sometimes feel nerve wracking!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I live and embody everything that I preach, and I have been in your shoes before--struggling deeply and unsure of how to improve my life and relationship with myself. In our sessions, I utilize both my clinical expertise and wisdom from my lived experience, and value showing up as my authentic self above all else in order to give you the permission slip you need to do the same.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love helping my clients get "unstuck" and strengthen their relationships with themselves. I work primarily with young adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and the weight of stress and anxiety. Together, we get to the root of their pain, uncover what they truly want, and build the skills to cultivate confidence and inner peace. My clients are eager to create better lives for themselves—they just need support in figuring out their own path.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients navigate difficult emotions, break free from unhelpful thought patterns, and build a life that aligns with their values. ACT is a mindfulness-based approach that focuses on accepting what’s out of our control while taking meaningful action toward the things that matter most.

Humanistic

I believe that everyone is inherently worthy and capable of change given the right support. I do not see individuals as "broken," rather, I believe that trauma and adverse experiences cause us to build defensive layers, and that healing is less of becoming someone new, and more of peeling back the layers to figure out who you've always been at your core. In working together, I help you come to understand yourself, your true desires, and your values on a deep level, and discover that your life is in your hands.

Narrative

The quality of our life is a direct reflection of our beliefs about ourselves and of the world. I'll help you uncover the stories that you've been holding onto, figure out how these stories have impacted your life and behavior, and empower you to begin telling new ones that support you in aligning your desires with your reality.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I support couples in breaking out of reactive cycles, learning to communicate from a place of vulnerability, and building a relationship that feels safe, responsive, and fulfilling.
