I am deeply passionate about helping others and guiding them toward positive change in their lives. My ideal client is someone who is motivated to embrace change and eager to learn the skills needed to make those transformations. I hope that, together, we can build a strong therapeutic relationship that provides the support you need during this journey and beyond.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first counseling session is usually dedicated to gathering information and completing necessary paperwork. We'll spend a few minutes discussing the initial concerns and background to help us get to know each other.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to remain non-judgmental, actively listen to my clients, maintain a positive outlook, find humor in situations, and provide strong support for change and personal growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with individuals who appreciate the support of a caring ally, someone who is not afraid of their therapist gently highlighting areas that may need change.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is highly regarded because it creates a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and understood. With core principles such as unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness, this approach enables individuals to freely explore their thoughts and emotions. This process fosters greater self-awareness and personal growth, empowering clients to make their own decisions, resolve conflicts, and enhance their overall well-being.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) is considered an effective therapeutic approach because it is short-term and goal-oriented, concentrating on leveraging a client's strengths to find solutions rather than focusing on the problems themselves. This makes it suitable for addressing a wide variety of issues and achieving rapid results. Research demonstrates its effectiveness across diverse populations and situations.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is regarded as an excellent therapy choice, especially for couples, as it helps individuals recognize, understand, and manage their emotions. This process fosters better communication and strengthens relationships. Research supports its effectiveness in resolving relationship distress and promoting positive change for couples facing challenges.
