Hey there, and congrats on taking the first step toward a more fulfilling life! 🎉 I'm so glad you're here — and I can’t wait to walk alongside you as you work toward your wellness goals. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Florida, Georgia, Kansas, and Nevada, and I also hold a Clinical Supervisor Endorsement through the National Association of Addiction Professionals. Originally a Jersey girl, I earned my BA in Psychology from Rutgers University. I started out as a middle school teacher — yep, brave soul! — but after five years, I felt called to support people in a deeper way and help them navigate life’s more personal challenges. That path led me to the University of Georgia (go DAWGS!), where I earned my Master’s in Social Work, and I’ve been in the field for over a decade now. My specialty? Helping amazing humans heal from trauma, manage anxiety or depression, overcome substance use struggles, and tackle life transitions with confidence and compassion. I believe real change happens when you feel seen, supported, and empowered — and that’s exactly what I aim to provide in every session. Let’s uncover your strengths, rewrite your story, and build a life you genuinely love. 💛 Ready when you are!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is all about getting to know you. Think of it as a pressure-free conversation where we start to explore what’s been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. There’s no need to have it all figured out — showing up is already a huge step. I’ll ask some questions about your history, current challenges, and goals, and you’ll have plenty of space to share as much (or as little) as you feel comfortable. This session sets the foundation for our work together, and I’ll always go at your pace. By the end, we’ll have a better idea of what you need, what’s possible, and how I can best support you moving forward. Most importantly, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very start.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I provide patient-centered care centered on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, EMDR and Motivational Interviewing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

🧠 Deep Expertise with a Human Touch I bring over a decade of clinical experience, a strong academic background, and multiple state licenses — but what really sets me apart is how approachable and real I am. I am grounded, compassionate, and authentic. 💛 Trauma-Informed & Empathy-Driven I have a deep understanding of how trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges intersect, and hold space for clients to feel seen without judgment. . 🎯 Empowering, Not Prescriptive I believe in drawing out your strengths that you already have. I don’t “fix” people — I help them rediscover their power and make meaningful change, on their own terms. 🎓 Educator’s Heart With a background in teaching, I have a natural ability to break down complex ideas, meet people where they are, and make them feel understood — all with a touch of humor and heart.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with individuals who are ready for change — even if they’re not sure where to begin. Whether you're feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, navigating recovery from addiction, or working through the effects of trauma, I offer a safe, judgment-free space where healing can begin.
