Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for clients residing in Illinois and Florida. I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings over the past 10 years. I love coming alongside clients and helping them to develop healthier ways of thinking and coping with life and situations they have experienced. I love educating clients on options they have and empowering them. I love using a variety of methods and techniques to meet each individuals needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will briefly get acquainted with one another and then dive into identifying what you hope to get out of therapy. We will explore current stressors and begin to develop a treatment plan specific to you and your goals. I am pretty flexible and able to meet clients where they are at.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with a wide variety of clients and in a variety of settings. I feel confident in my ability to offer hope and provide you with real life techniques that are proven to work. I am compassionate and care about each client I work with and truly want to help. I will be invested in you and the therapy process.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

Exploring how our faith impacts our daily lives has proven to be helpful for clients and allows them to gain more insight. It has also been helpful to identify faith practices that could be of assistance with coping more effectively.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

By identifying what we believe and how this impacts our thoughts, feelings, and actions it allows clients to recognize helpful and unhelpful patterns and work to improve these for overall improved coping.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have found that by learning basic DBT skills and applying these into our daily lives people increase their ability to manage daily stressors and cope much more effectively overall.
