Hello! I am an LCSW who has had the privilege of serving my clients across a variety of needs for over 15 years. I find myself working most with those who are in the midst of change. They may be seeking a change within or they may be experiencing a life change and need support navigating transition and/or fostering healing and growth. I love to help my clients tap into their own strength to find the ability to heal and grow.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be focused on getting to know each other and giving you the space to share your needs and goals. We will work together to make your plan for healing and growth and my gentle approach will give you the space to move forward at your pace.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Compassion and empathy are core values that drive my work. I feel it puts me more in tune with the needs of others and maintaining the care to help others grow.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is an opportunity to learn how thoughts influence feelings and behaviors. I show clients how to harness the power of change through learning how to change thoughts while experiencing relief from day to day patterns in feelings and life experiences hindered by worry and stress.

Grief Therapy

I have worked with clients who are experiencing various stages of their grief. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, I walk with you through your grief experience and empower you to heal through your pain. Grief is not something that goes away but we can learn how to live with it and how to move forward in our life.

Psychodynamic

Our feelings are dictated by many things. I use this approach when clients are looking to dig deeper in prior influences to their emotional state so they can better understand how they can move forward, heal and grow.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is an important component to therapy. I utilize this technique to build knowledge and trust between myself and my clients. Many people feel that when they understand a concept and its impact in their life, it can help them achieve clarity and the strength to change.

Strength-Based

I strongly believe in utilizing a strengths-based approach as a means to empower clients belief in their ability to change. The strengths-based approach offers a focus on the power already within you and both how it has served you and how it can better serve you moving forward.
