Hello potential client! You are hurting in some way if you are here reading this. Maybe you feel like you are getting more and more stressed out and just one more stressor would be too much for you to handle. Maybe you worry all the time about everything and can't stop. Maybe you are sad all the time and don't enjoy doing things that used to be fun. Maybe you are feeling helpless or hopeless about what to do. Maybe you have been through a traumatic experience or are grieving. Maybe you are thinking the way you have been using substances is causing you problems. You have tried your best to help yourself but nothing has worked the way you hoped it would. You don't know what to do but you do know you can't keep going the way you have been. This is where I come in! I help people who are ready to change for the better! My heart is for helping hurting people and I strive to treat all of my clients with the compassion and respect I believe they deserve. The most important part of positive change in a therapeutic relationship depends on just that - the relationship between the therapist and the client. I also use a variety of resources to help my clients. These include evidence-based types of therapy, worksheets and measurements. I also offer Christian counseling to those who are interested and am also happy to work with people of other spiritual beliefs. I offer free consultation calls so we can both decide if working together would be a good fit for both of us. I look forward to hearing from you if I sound like I would be your kind of therapist!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will start to get to know each other and will start building your treatment plan. Your treatment plan will be our roadmap as it will have the goals and objectives we want to accomplish as we are working together. After each session, I want my clients to feel that they have been heard and understood. I want my clients to feel that they have just spent time with someone who cares for them.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use a variety of treatment methods and tools. I will assign assessment tools as appropriate. For example, if someone is struggling with depression, I will have them fill out an assessment for depression at regular intervals. This allows us to see the progress that you are making or if we aren't getting the results we want to decide what changes we should make. I also give my clients informational worksheets and worksheets to fill out when I believe it would be helpful to them. These will be tools you can use to help you accomplish your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my favorite parts of doing therapy is when I can tell that a client and I have connected. I also love watching my clients learn how to be overcomers. I enjoy helping people renew their relationship with God and learn how they can use their faith to help themselves. I believe it is possible for human beings to connect on the basis of their feelings. As human beings, we all have the same feelings. While the reasons we have these feelings will vary for all of us, we all know what it is like to have emotions. We all know emotions we wish we could always have like happiness and we all know the emotions we wish we never had to have like sadness. I strive to connect with you no matter what you are feeling and to help you move towards having more of the emotions we all like.
