Hi everyone! My name is Angelle. Are you struggling with the demands of everyday life to the point where things feel overwhelming? Do you often feel like you're behind in life, burnt out, or have imposter syndrome? I understand it may be hard, but we can get through it together. It may be time to begin your healing journey at Dawn of Healing Counseling, where you're met with warmth, understanding, and a safe space to explore your path to wellness. My passion is helping adults navigate life's transitions and challenges with compassion and support. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with two years of experience. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, LGBTQIA+, borderline traits, and racial and gender identity issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other! We will start with expectations and goals. We'll discuss any stressors and obstacles, and then create a plan for how we'll work through things in our coming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is seeing the best in my clients at all time. I strive to encourage my clients through every stage of change and I’m always optimistic about their progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I understand that it may be hard to face the obstacles of life, but you don’t have to do it alone. Starting your healing journey is a very big step, and I’m already proud of you. I strive to create a welcoming and safe environment for you to be your authentic self. My clients desire change and progression but often need guidance in their journeys. They often feel overwhelmed, anxious, pressured, and maybe behind in life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a modality that I use as a therapist to aid my clients with coping with cognitive symptoms. CBT is used to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, and many more to aid in challenging cognitive structures that may be exacerbating your symptoms.

Strength-Based

I utilize the Strength-Based method to highlight my client's superpowers so they recognize their ability to change and make progress.
