When appropriate, I also will explore the benefits of Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). During our session, my primary focus will be on you—your needs, concerns, and goals. I want to hear about your experiences, feelings, and what brought you here. I’ll listen closely, validate your emotions, and ensure you feel heard. This is your space, and I’m here to guide and support you as we work through whatever challenges you’re facing. If you’re open to it and we both feel it’s appropriate, we can explore how an Emotional Support Animal might fit into your treatment. ESAs can provide immense comfort and stability for those struggling with anxiety, trauma, and other conditions. I’ll help you assess your feelings around having an ESA and whether your living situation supports this option.
