This space was cultivated to provide quality and working care to all that grace my path. I am committed to your mental health and overall wellness by taking the time to get to know you and understand your unique needs. My therapy sessions are tailored to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore, heal, and grow. With a focus on empathy and understanding, I will guide you towards positive change and personal growth. My Promise To You: To provide sessions that are tailored to your unique needs, while addressing issues such as end-of-life, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. While using therapeutic interventions that aim to foster self-awareness, emotional healing, and personal transformation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming space where we begin with brief introductions, and an overview of what to expect in therapy. There will be time for questions and answers, allowing you to express any concerns or expectations you have. We will also complete a level of care assessment, discuss mental health history, and explore current challenges to determine the best approach for treatment. Together, we will begin developing a treatment plan by identifying goals that align with your needs and desired outcomes. This session is about building trust, gathering important information, and setting the foundation for a meaningful therapeutic journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to create a warm, empathetic, and culturally affirming space where you feel truly seen and understood. I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by different communities, allowing me to provide nuanced, trauma-informed care that acknowledges systemic and generational influences on mental health. My ability to balance compassion with empowerment will help you to feel supported while also encouraging personal growth and accountability. I excel at breaking down complex emotional experiences into tangible insights, making healing feel accessible and attainable. My work is deeply rooted in authenticity, ensuring you receiving guidance that is both practical and transformative. Above all, I am committed to helping you reclaim your power and self-worth making my therapeutic approach both impactful and meaningful.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with life transitions. My clients are ready to improve mentally and emotionally, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about where they are in life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our sessions, I integrate CBT techniques tailored to your unique needs. This includes: Identifying Thought Patterns: Together, we’ll explore the thoughts and beliefs that might be contributing to your distress and examine their accuracy and helpfulness. Practical Skill-Building: I’ll teach you tools like mindfulness, self-compassion, and problem-solving to help you handle stress, improve relationships, and maintain emotional balance. Behavioral Activation: We’ll create small, manageable steps to help you engage in meaningful activities that align with your values, even in the face of difficult emotions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

My training and experience with DBT have shown me how powerful this method can be in helping clients achieve emotional balance, develop healthier relationships, and handle stress more effectively. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can learn and practice the core DBT skills: Mindfulness: Together, we’ll focus on being fully present in the moment, reducing emotional overwhelm, and increasing self-awareness. Emotion Regulation: I’ll teach you practical strategies to manage intense emotions, helping you respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively. Distress Tolerance: You’ll learn how to navigate crises and cope with difficult situations without resorting to harmful behaviors. Interpersonal Effectiveness: We’ll explore ways to communicate your needs, set boundaries, and maintain healthy relationships. In addition to individual sessions, I often incorporate hands-on strategies like mindfulness exercises, journaling prompts, and real-world practice to ensure that these skills become a natural part of your daily
