Thank you for your interest in me as your future therapist. It has always been my passion to help others and guide them towards healing. I make every effort to help my clients move forward from what may be troubling them. I enjoy working with all ages and focus on developing a relationship that will be supportive and transformative. I speak directly and highlight thoughts and behaviors as we speak in the therapy session so my client can begin to recognize obstacles within themselves that could be contributing to their difficulties.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect to be asked a few questions, but most importantly is to get to know my client and what their expectations are. We will also speak about what brought the person to therapy and develop a plan to tackle the issues presented.

Building trusting, long lasting relationships is what most people need in order to find healing in their issues. I have experience working with all ages. My direct nature is also beneficial to confront the issues that may be difficult to face alone. I'm here to help at any stage.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our beliefs, thoughts,and behaviors all lead us to form patterns of behavior that may become troublesome and maladaptive. I will help you identify, recognize, reflect, and change these patterns in order to develop new ways of living.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Traumatic experiences can lead people to form irrational beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors about themselves and others. This may create feelings of frustration, shame, and isolation, along with many others. Confronting these thoughts and feelings is an important process that leads to healing.

Christian Counseling

Navigating life alone is difficult to many. If you're a Christian who is looking for faith based therapy, I may be able to help. The foundation of Christian beliefs are found in the Bible and accepting it as truth. I will help to encourage, edify, and reflect with you on these truths to take action towards freedom.

Family Therapy

The family unit is a complex system of parents/caregivers along with their children. Different attachment styles, communication styles, and dynamics all effect how well the family functions. I will work with the group to make the necessary changes for a healthy, communicative family.

Couples Counseling

Often times the couple will get into cycles of being disconnected, stuck, argumentive, and discouraged. Finding a neutral and safe environment to listen and be understood is necessary for any struggling couples. Let me help you to dive deep into what may be the root cause to your troubles. We will work through the issues with respect, love, and determination for a better future.
