Hello. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) located in CA and I have been practicing for over 15 years. I work with adults who are seeking help with depression and anxiety (as well as other diagnoses), and individuals who are experiencing major life changes and/or relationship issues. I work in collaboration with each client and provide a safe environment to help them learn effective ways to communicate, positive coping skills, and ways to engage in self-care.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I want to learn about you as an individual and to explore what you would like to work on in therapy. This will allow us to work together in creating a plan to work on in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am an experienced and caring therapist who genuinely likes to help others and to see them grow.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adults who are struggling in some capacity and who are open to make changes. Many times clients do not have the necessary tools to make these changes and often feel overwhelmed and anxious. I provide a safe environment to help each individual feel heard.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I work with clients to help them recognize and change unhealthy thoughts and behaviors in order to decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Often clients feel stuck in the past and/or are worried about the future. With mindfulness-based therapy I assist clients to focus on the here and now.

Psychoeducation

I provide education to clients on a number of topics, such as: positive coping skills, sleep hygiene, self-care techniques, increasing self-esteem, gratitude and mindfulness.
