I am Stacey Harrell, a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges and find your way to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have 15 years of experience in the field of therapy. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based techniques. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your unique experiences. This is a judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace—there is no pressure to tell your entire story during the first session. Together, we'll identify your goals and discuss an approach that best fits your needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed, we'll work collaboratively to create a personalized plan for your healing and growth. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the journey ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe space where you can explore life's challenges without fear of judgment. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. I integrate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help clients develop practical coping skills while addressing the deeper roots of emotional pain. My goal is not only to help you feel better but to equip you with lasting tools that promote resilience, healing, and personal growth long after therapy ends. I strive to empower each client to move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness, and hope. One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is empathetic listening: I truly listen and try to understand. I create a safe environment and space where women can express their thoughts without reservation. I believe being heard and validated is the foundation of effective therapy. I use a holistic approach to recognize that mental, emotional and physical wellbeing are interconnected. I work with women to address not just their immediate concerns but also underlying factors that may be contributing to challenges. I will give each individual therapy that is unique, and I understand that there is no one-size fits all approach to therapy. I believe in empowering women to take an active role in their wellbeing and help boost their confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with women ages 18-45 because they are either beginning life as new adult or been living life and has had some kind of slump or life crisis and just need a pick me up, where maybe she felt down or anxious, and needs to get back to that place of normalcy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my sessions to help understand the client's issues and identify thought patterns and behaviors and emotions. I use CBT to set specific treatment goals. To help the client understand the connection between their thoughts and feelings, to recognize their challenging or negative thought patterns to help change them to more positive and realistic.
