Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and currently working on my Play Therapist certification. I received my Master’s in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University located in San Antonio, TX. I have been practicing for over 15 years working with both children and adults, with issues on anxiety, depression and behavior. I like for clients to feel comfortable talking about issues that may be sensitive or difficult to express themselves with others.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will get to know each other, where the client can feel free to ask questions about the process and determine what they are needing out of the therapeutic process. Then we can dive into a treatment plan that supports you, so that we can meet your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having been a therapist for a while, I have learned technique to help clients feel comfortable about coming to therapy and help them work through issues without feeling uncomfortable. Identifying the root cause of the problem and developing a treatment plan that leads to measurable outcomes.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with clients who are experiencing issues with anxiety, and need support in coping with this issue. I also work with clients that are suffering from depression due to issues with grief or other situations that may have occurred. I enjoy working with children through various method of treatment, I feel that children should feel comfortable coming to therapy and be able to express themselves in a safe and positive environment .
