I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist and Certified Grief Educator. I specialize in helping adults navigate the profound challenges of depression, grief, bipolar disorder, ADHD and anxiety. My own life experiences, including the loss of my son in 2023, have given me a unique perspective and a deeply empathetic approach. I understand the courage it takes to open up and the transformative growth that therapy can bring. I am here to provide a safe and compassionate space for self-discovery and healing. While therapy requires time, effort, and patience, the journey is deeply rewarding. Discovering the best version of yourself is an investment worth making, and I would be honored to guide you on this transformative path.
In our first session, we will begin by creating a safe, open space where you feel heard and understood. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any immediate concerns. This session is about building trust and setting a foundation for our work together. You can expect me to meet you with empathy, patience, and a nonjudgmental approach.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to connect deeply with clients, providing a compassionate and understanding presence. My personal experiences with mental health issues along with grief and loss allow me to bring authenticity and empathy to our work, creating a space where clients feel truly seen and validated.
I specialize in working with adults who are seeking clarity and healing in the midst of anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions. My clients often seek a therapist who 'gets it' and can offer guidance and support without judgment. Whether you’re grappling with loss, stress, or a desire for greater self-awareness, I am here to help you gain clarity and support you.
My primary approach in working with clients is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Solution-Focused Therapy. I have experience working with a wide variety of populations, specializing in helping adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief, ADHD, or substance use. I help clients discover the life that they want and consider the action steps to make that life happen.
Our lives are changed forever when we lose someone we love. While there is no set amount of time to grieve, sometimes we get stuck. If you are looking to find a path forward, you are in the right place. I'm here to help.
I use solution-focused therapy when a client has a specific goal they would like to reach in a brief period of time. We work together to develop strategies and practical solutions for changes in relationships, work, or education related issues.
